The Road Less Taken

By Daniel O'Connell

The people I enjoy working with most seem to make the path of least resistance their road less taken.

Thankfully, they’re generally people who recognize the value of their own potential to an organization or idea and are borderline compulsive about making a positive contribution and delivering on that potential. They gain satisfaction not from simply ticking the boxes but from doing great work.

That faithfulness to what’s possible makes these people challenge the status quo, question everything and take risks. It sometimes makes them prickly, but consistently insightful and typically self-aware and interesting.

Their road less taken leads straight to their comfort zone.
