The 103rd AES convention was held in NYC 1997 and JBL Professional had Julian Lennon perform at the relocated and reopened China Club on 47th Street.
Danny Fried was the co-owner and George Georgiades was the sound engineer and together with the agency and the client team that included Simon Jones and Michael MacDonald we worked for many months on the launch for the JBL Marquis, Soundpower, and Venue Series loudspeakers.
